Purple Umbrella (formerly Designs by Deb) has been in business since 1987.  During the course of these past 32 years, owner Debbie Wolf has taken the business in many different directions.  Over the years she has made a variety of different types of jewelry - one very popular line was a line of People Jewelry where she was able to donate approximately $40,000 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Now instead of making jewelry herself, she buys jewelry from many different artists from around the world (hence the name change to Purple Umbrella - “many artists under one umbrella”). Currently, many domestic artists are represented, as well as 3 Israeli artists, Fair Trade artists and others from around the world.
