“Throw away your web pages,” says Dr. David Loertscher. This panel presentation showcases cultivating a VLC model as a school library web presence for  reinforcing the role of the library as the “heart of the school community." Examples of K-12, VLC elements include information, literature, virtual “making”and knowledge building literacies will be highlighted. These serve as an integral  to digital teaching and learning practices within a school and across a school district including access to high-quality digital learning resources.
