Amazing things can happen when schools and public libraries collaborate, from community read and homework help programs to cooperative collection development and staffing. But with limited time and support, how can school librarians create these partnerships and keep them going? MA Library System Consultants, Christi Farrar and April Mazza, will share partnership best practices from the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), the national consortium of states that supports summer learning in libraries, gleaned from hundreds of member librarians and backed by research.
